Sport

As the ball thunders down the line,
The defenders race to get it on time,
But I’m ahead and lightning fast,
I beat the keeper with a blast

As I hit the ball, low over the net,
With precision and power I’m shore to get,
It lands before the other person,
I’ve won the cup and now in heaven

As the bowler is running up,
I get ready for a good shot,
I swing my bat quite so hard,
It goes over and out the park

 That feeling that you get,
From winning that cup you very wanted,
Can’t be replaced I very bet

Poems

Poetry is the new rock and roll – do stanzas, haikus and iambic pentameters float your boat?  No?  Never mind, you can still send in your poem here!
