 Max's Poem

By Max Elsworth  / Spinebreakers Crew

SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES ANYONE?

As I glared at the pink fluff and glitter

I saw your face.

Pearl white like the corporate bear’s eyes,

Bearing the hopeful glint that resembles such disgrace.

Should I pick you up?

Dress you up?

Beguiling true love…

Soft like your skin

I run my hands across its fibres.

No moral,

No value,

Just a waste of hard earned fivers,

Where is the virtue?

I turn away ignoring this mirage and step back into theworld.

Entwining thoughts of love all remain true,

So the next time I see you I will say “I love you.”
