I Care

By Milly Peckham-Cooper

I care if others live or die, I care about the
Earth and sky, I care about the environment too
I care if others don’t, do you. I care for all living
Thing’s large and small, animals, insects what they do
To help the balance of our world, help me and you.
I care
About the children who are totally dependant on
Adults to make sure the world is a place
Where we in our turn can do our bit too to stop
The misery of being very hungry. It’s not
Enough to only say it will be a better world
Tomorrow if not today.

I care and listen when people say the world is
In our hands today, I care enough to know that one
Day when I grow that it will be down to
Me and my friends to care for the world to be caring
Adults for all to see and put an end to poverty.
I care enough to understand that the fate of the
World is in all our hands, not to be greedy but to be
A caring person constantly. I care about everyone
Who lives and breathes under the sun. I care
About all the sad stories too that the news daily
Brings into our homes and see helpless
People constantly.

I care and I will every day make sure I do my best
To be a person, who will help my fellow man,
And I know my friends will too. I care will
You care about tomorrow too join me and be
An active member of the world’s society, help
All and the people and environment constantly?
