Lucky Dip

Well, I have to admit, I may have deviated a little from my original new year’s resolution – I promised that I would try anything, so long as it didn’t make me broke. Well, I’m broke now, so I’m going to have to be a little bit more imaginative with my ideas for a little while whilst I build up my money again. There is a good reason for my current money situation – I decided to buy everybody (yes, everybody) at school a cream egg for Easter. Let me tell you, it was such a hassle getting all those cream eggs into school, and handing them all out, but I managed (eventually). Everyone was dead grateful for the cream eggs, although some were sceptical at first (‘Why? Have you dropped it on the floor?’ etc. etc.)

Like I mentioned last month, Tina and Alice decided to put together a ‘New Year’s resolution lucky dip’ for me, and this month, I had to picked out two things, to ‘get the ball rolling’ as they said. So, the two tasks I was set were – paint my bedroom, but really funky and bizarre, and get Twittering. So now my bedroom is an enchanted forest theme – I’m talking navy blue ceiling with stars painted on it, trees and forest landscape across the walls (with a path which looks like it never ends), and fairies in amongst the trees. I had to convince my mum to let me paint my room (which actually turned out to be easier than I thought), but apart from that, it turned out to be quite an easy task to start out with.

The Twitter one? I’m working on it, I’m still getting used to the whole updating all the time thing, it’s so bizarre to me! I promise that it will be up and running (properly) by next month!

This month has been a relatively calm and normal one, well, compared to past months, but I’m loving a bit of quiet, a bit of the old me, just for a while. Tina and Alice wont let me keep it dull for long though, because they’ve got their hearts set on me ‘making the most of this’, although I’m pretty sure that they really just want to see me make a fool out of myself sometimes.

Well, till next month (and hopefully with a better understanding of Twitter),

Molly ;)
