Lily Dessau's text review of Bad Kitty
By Lily Dessau / Spinebreakers Crew
This is Michelle Jaffe's first book about the teenage detective Jas Callihan. Hailing from Los Angeles, Jaffe's writing is slightly different to what I'd usually read. However, I think this book has worked really well in relating to teens on a global scale. The plot is really exciting, and not predictable as I'd expected from the first few chapters. The main character, Jas, is very aspirational, and her friends (and enemies) are all characters you can grow to love. I think this book is a really good read for young teenagers, particularly girls with an interest in CSI style plots.
