Being big-up review
By Mirian Jacinto / Spinebreakers Crew
Kevin Brooks entices you into his imagination weaved reality filled with secret societies, counterfeit news stories, murder, stolen guns and fake ID’s. Robert Smith is a teenage boy, not normal or typical by any standards but to him, he just is. The lack of personal history or his seemingly manufactured past never seemed to bother him until a routine endoscopy goes completely wrong. On top of searching for his identity he must find out what he is as a secret society go on a ruthless manhunt to attain him.
With the whole world around his rooting for his capture and only a reluctant scam artist as his companion, Robert must think like a criminal and run like a wanted man. Life on the run is quiet simple, stay at least five calculated steps ahead of the enemy and never look back, hesitation could mean capture.
