A great book

Cale lives in the Sanctuary of the Redeemers. Even the name is a lie; you wouldn't class that place as a sanctuary, and redemption has nothing to do with the ethos of the so called Redeemers. Cale was the youngest of thousands of boys to be brought to the Sanctuary, a foul place, and has friends - even though it is against the rules. He can be ruthless and heartless, yet seems to care at some parts in the story. Is it actions that are evil or the person that commits these actions? Cale is a murderer, a villain - but some say, an extraordinary one, for at 14 years old, some believe he could destroy the world.
I really liked this book, because it made me think - about what evil actually is - and what life in such a place as "the Sanctuary" really would be like. It is action packed and slightly mysterious; just like Harry Potter or Artemis Fowl. Cale is a strange hero, like an anti-hero, he isn't really a hero - unlike must book characters, which is quite refreshing.
A great book! I would recommend this if you liked Harry Potter or Artemis Fowl.
