Unique and worth reading
By Lauren Felstead / Spinebreakers Crew
I was truly excited when this book landed through my letterbox. And that was still the case when I began to read it. I felt I got to know Cale’s character, as mysterious as he could sometimes be, and felt the pain and suffering that he endured.
One of the reasons I liked this book was because the plot isn’t similar to any other books out now, making it more unique and worth reading. The plot didn’t feel clichéd either which meant you could just read it with no expectations.
I think the author did the right thing by giving Cale a love interest as it made the plot all the more believable and enchanting.
I would say this is more for older readers - otherwise the plot may seem confusing and the feel of the story misunderstood.
While I enjoyed the story, I felt something missing, so I would love to see a follow-up book, as the plot was left open for another anyway.
