The Devouring

Simon Holt

Bloodcurdling, spine chilling, and just plain creepy

By Tim  / Spinebreakers Crew

The Devouring- Sorry Night written by Simon Holt is a thriller/horror novel for all Darren Shan fans, it’s bloodcurdling, spine chilling, and just plain creepy and a great book for any fan of horror.

Reggie lives with her brother Henry who’s kind and warm hearted, but one night, on sorry night Reggie and her best friend Aaron test their fears and the monsters that stalk every child’s nightmares the bogeymen or also known as the vours come out to play and nothings the same again.

This book is definitely a great read, although not as scary as I would have hoped, it’s still a thrilling read with twists and turns, blood, and a creepy little brother that won’t get any Christmas presents from Santa this year!

What happens on sorry night? Why is Henry acting so strange? And what will happen if your worst most terrifying fear consumes you?
