What I Was

Meg Rosoff

Meet Spudz

By Spudz  / Spinebreakers Crew

In What I Was, the main character – whose name I will not reveal in case you have not yet read the book – was followed around by Finn’s cat. He became terribly annoyed with this cat, but due to events that unfolded near the end of the story, had to put his indifferences aside and became friendly with the cat.

I’ve decided to create an alternative character to the cat, and have invented (with l33t fot0shop skill0rz) a sprightly little mascot called Spudz, a chipmunk.

He’s extremely pleased to meet you:

Spudz the alternative character for What I Was

Spudz was actually really keen to get involved in Spinebreakers, as he’s a big book fan himself – always with his head deep in a book from one of many in Finn’s hut. So he’s had a go at recording a review of the book he stars in. Check it out – it’s the review for What I Was.
