Book of Shadows and The Coven

Cate Tiernan

Really Very Gripping

By Sophie  / Spinebreakers Crew

Cate Tiernan has the great ability to really grip you into the storyline and want you desperately yearning to read more. She has two daughters and can be located in North Carolina.

Although I was a bit confused about their being two books in one I really enjoyed reading the two books. This book revolves around a young and thoughtful teenager called Morgan, her life turns upside down one frightful day when she sets eyes on the new boy in her school. And he wasn't just any new boy!

The story describes in great and interesting detail about Wicca, and about the holidays and beliefs. I really liked this, because although some people may dislike it, it would still get them reading. It was really very gripping. The author evidently put a lot of hard work into researching everything that would be needed for the book and I was very grateful when reading through. I even went back a few times.

Overall, I found the book beautifully written but a bit to predictable and cliche! I really enjoyed reading them and can't wait to get my hands on the others!
