I Loved How the Leopard Got His Spots

I was absolutely chuffed to get the Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling, as I've wanted to read them for ages.
The first story, How the Whale Got His Throat, is self explanatory in context, but cleverly told and very funny (but don't forget the suspenders!). I loved How the Leopard got His Spots, although I had to read the back of the book where it tells you about the quagga, the extinct species of sandy brown zebra, to understand as I am only familiar with the black and white!!
I could not decide which were my favourite between The Butterfly that Stamped, that reminded me of my Arabian Nights stories and The Elephants Child, which made me laugh. I also loved the pictures and foot-note like descriptions, although they did put me off a bit.
