When I was sent ‘Rumours’ I was delighted, I had thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Luxe’ and was looking forward to reading the sequel. However I tried and tried many nights to get into this book, hoping that it would get better the more I read. Unfortunately the plot was dull and lacked a hook to make me want to read more. Most of the time I read it, I hadn’t a clue what was going on as it wasn’t clear. I would definitely recommend ‘The Luxe’ but not the sequel as others too may find it a disappointment like I did.
