Feelings
Are like
A neat brown
Package packaged in uniform
Brown, anonymous, discreet, plain, lonely.
Feelings of a glum nature are packaged more harshly,
With a tight, restrictive piece of string that chokes the body
Of the package, until it crumples and rips from the sheer pressure
That is building up as it travels the long, arduous journey from sender to recipient.
Who will be the recipient of bad news? The type of news that’s a result of emotions running high,
Feelings erupting as that piece of string binds tighter and tighter until
