After reading WAG'S World: Playing the Game, I decided to create an alternative ending in the form of a movie script.
At the party Claudette walks up to Amy
Claudette: Are you ready?
Amy: Ready for what?
Claudette: You know what?
Amy: No I really don’t.
Claudette: Well you’ve got half hour or that photo of you and Josh is going to be in every newspaper and magazine in the whole of Britain.
Claudette walks away. Amy calls Rosary over.
Amy: Have you seen my flats these hills are killing me?
Rosary: They’re in my dressing room
Amy: Thanks
Amy walks upstairs into Rosay’s dressing room to find Paige sitting down and Damian coming out of the bathroom. Paige stands up.
Paige: Hi
Amy: Damian… Paige… What’s going on?
Damian: Nothing.
Paige: Damian tell her, she needs to know.
Amy: Needs to know what?
Paige: You mustn’t say anything, to anyone.
Amy: Damian
Damian: Paige has diabetes, that’s the reason why I’ve been spending so much time with her. She has times when she gets really bad, and people just make fun of her, and say that she’s a drunk. But I knew something was wrong.
Amy: And Scott White. The fight.
Damian: he was bragging about how many girls he hooked up with on the night when Paige was really bad, so we had words, that’s all.
Amy: I feel so stupid.
Damian: Paige you better take your pump, you look like you need it.
Paige takes her pump out of her pocket, as she does Amy’s necklace feel out of her pocket.
Amy: Hold on that’s my necklace the one Damian gave me. You knew I lost that. What is it doing in your pocket?
Paige: Um I don’t know
Amy: yelling That’s what you put in your pocket at the Caffe Americaine.
Paige: It’s no big deal
Amy: Why did you take it? WHY!!!?
Paige: Because, I needed Damian he was the only one who understood, and well you were getting in the way
Amy: So you took his heart… Damian…
Damian looked at floor keeping the silence going strong
Amy: Well if that’s how you feel.
Amy storms out room, and down the stairs. Shortly after Damian follows.
Damian: Ames can I speak to you?
Amy: Go on then.
Damian: Outside
Amy and Damian go outside
Amy: Why weren’t you honest with me? If you were honest I wouldn’t of suspected anything
Damian: Paige made me promise not to.
Amy: But I’m your girl… was your girlfriend.
Damian: I know, but it really wasn’t my place to say. You have got to understand that.
Amy: I do, but Paige took my necklace, your heart and you didn’t say anything. You made me fell so stupid. Like you don’t care.
Damian: Here you go with the jealousy again, maybe Josh was right.
Amy: What do you mean?
Damian: He was the one who said we needed space, who suggested you moved out
Amy: And he’s also the one who asked me out.
Damian: He did what?
Amy: He asked me out for lunch.
Damian: What did you say?
Amy: Nothing I wasn’t expecting that. Presides what do you care?
Damian: Don’t you find it weird that Josh is the one that suggested you move out, and we need space, and now we’re over he wants you to go out with him
Amy: Are you suggesting he wanted to split us up?
Damian: Maybe, but your jealousy didn’t help.
Amy: Nor did your lying, and going behind my back.
Damian: I know… and I’m sorry.
Amy: I’m sorry too.
Damian: So where do we go from here?
Amy: I don’t know
Damian: Well I do
Damian kissed Amy so passionately before taking her by the hand and leading her inside to enjoy the rest of the party that she had planned.
Damian: Do you want a drink?
Amy: Yes please
Damian goes to get Amy a drink as he walks away Claudette walks over to Amy.
Claudette: You’ve got one last chance to reveal what you no.
Amy: I want be blackmailed by you or anyone else for that matter.
Claudette: Your choice.
Claudette walks away. Damian comes back and gives Amy her drink. Claudette gets on stage and grabs the microphone.
Claudette: Everyone can I have your attention. Somebody here today has a deep dark secret, and well this image will reveal all.
The picture of Josh and Amy comes up on the big screen.
Damian: What is this?
Amy put her drink down and runs outside. Her friends Asha and Susi follow.
Amy: It’s not how it seems. The picture makes it look bad; it was just a peck on the cheek.
Asha: we believe you.
Amy: But will Damian?
Asha: I don’t know, it did look bad.
Susi: Don’t worry we’re here for you.
Amy: I want to go home. Back to Yorkshire. Turn a blind eye on all of this.
Susi: What about Damian?
Amy: I don’t know anymore. All I know is he and everyone else will be better of without me. The whole time I’ve been here it’s been a total disaster. You can’t trust no one, not even yourself… and well I learnt the hard way. If I go home I will stop causing everyone hurt. It’s better for everyone.
Asha: No it’s not.
Susi: We know you would never cheat or ever do anything to hurt Damian, because we no how much he means to you. But it’s not us that need convincing it’s him.
Damian walks towards Amy, Asha, and Susi. A tear rolls sharply down Amy’s face.
Damian: Can we have some privacy
Susi: Sure.
Susi and Asha walk away.
Amy: I’m sorry, it’s not what you think, I swear?
Damian: how do you know what I think?
Amy: You think what the picture says, but not what the picture is?
Damian: Just tell me the truth. Are you dating Josh?
Amy: Of course not. You and I were seeing him for help, and that’s where he asked us to meet.
Damian: Well you look like you were doing a lot more than just talking.
Amy: It was just a peck on the cheek… But no need to worry anymore tomorrow I’m going back to Yorkshire with Asha, and Susi so I’ll be out of your way.
Damian: No I don’t want you to go. Not yet.
Amy: Then what do you want?
Damian: I don’t know. But what I do know is I can’t do this anymore.
A tear slowly rolls out of Amy’s left eye, while Damian is trying to hold all the heartache in, but looks at Amy as if it were the first time he ever looked eyes on her, as he still loves her but doesn’t know what to believe anymore, he doesn’t want to let her go. Meanwhile back inside the party Claudette and Josh are talking.
Claudette: I done my half of the deal, now it’s your turn to do your half of the deal.
Josh: Not quite I still haven’t got the girl… Yet anyway.
