Love Get Out Of My Way - Single review
By Hannah

With their fresh synths and driving basslines, it is a surprise that Monarchy have not yet had the commercial and chart success they deserve. New single ‘Love Get Out Of My Way’ is sure to get them noticed, with a cool electronic sound that we’re not used to hearing in the generic chart we’ve become accustomed to in recent times.

They have a sound that is equally comfortable at both the summer festivals and on the beach in Ibiza and you just can’t get the thumping chorus of their most recent single out of your head after you’ve heard it.

The band have also been grabbing people’s attention with their mysterious appearance, with both keeping their faces covered during interviews and performances in an act of anti-celebrity, defying the ‘Heat’ culture we have come to accept as normal. The band is a definite add to the summer playlist and I fail to see how 2010 can’t be a massive year for the duo.
