Books I love:

On Chesil Beach, Enduring Love, Amsterdam by Ian McEwan. The Trial, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. On the Road by Jack Kerouac. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and the Just William Stories by Richmal Crompton (a tad more juvenile but no less valid I say!)

Top five authors:
Ian McEwan, Jack Kerouac, Harold Pinter, Franz Kafka and Stephen Fry

Favourite genres:

I don’t really know. I suppose a sort of modern, naturalist, tragedy. Not so much modern domestic tragedy itself but an amalgamation of the previously listed elements. Although, having said that I think that I should now revise my answer to “good books”.

I’m currently reading:
The Great Gatsby
