Well… perhaps Halloween is not quite as dramatic as that, but we all love to tell a good "ghost story" to shock our friends (and ourselves!)

So this Halloween we're giving away Penguin's scariest books. Covering centuries of fiction and literature, one lucky winner will delve into the world of Vampires in Bram Stoker's Dracula , read the Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe - the Original Master of Terror, discover The Anatomy of Ghosts by Andrew Taylor and battle zombies in Charlie Higson's The Fear .
